Bio:
Art Bogun is the dedicated chief detective of the Gray Lassie Police Department. With his no-nonsense demeanor, this bear has a commanding presence at any crime scene.

Early on in Hot Dog's career, the Canine Defender of the Innocent met up with Detective Bogun, turning the nefarious racoon gang over to him. Since then, the two have worked together from time to time. Their biggest success came when they captured the super villain the Scrambler.

Behind-the-scenes:
Although detective Bogun technically appears first in Hot Dog, Canine Defender of the Innocent issue #1, he is only seen in one panel at the end of the comic, and even there he's only seen from behind. Bogun's next appearance was supposed to be in Hot Dog issue #2, where he has a much more expanded role, complete with dialog. However, due to a change in schedule, Bogun appeared in the Quack V computer game first, where he gives the briefing for each mission.
