Bio:
Snake, Wattle, and Wool is one of the most successful rock bands of all time. The group has played some of the biggest venues, including the town of vice itself - Los Mula. However, it's the city of Gray Lassie that the three members call home. Their greatest hits are contained on the CD Fleeced Hart.

Snake is the vocalist and leader of the band. He lines up all the gigs personally, not trusting to managers.

Thadeus "Wattle" Blone is the group's drummer. This pig finds himself to be uncoordinated except when slammin' out the beats on his drum set. Called Thad by his close friends, he attended the University of Gray Lassie as a computer science student at the insistence of his father. There he met Christie Holt and the two became good friends, graduating in the same class.

Wool is the laid back guitarist of the band. Off stage she has a penchant for the finer things in life and always enjoys a good party. Her path has crossed with Max Tomson several times.

The band members are friends with actor Gareth Flect. Gareth asked them to provide live music at his wedding as a present and they readily agreed. At the wedding, the group had the chance to perform with Veronica Teyl following her departure from the professional music scene.

Behind-the-scenes:
The idea of a rock band in the Cubes world came fairly early on; however, there was never really a good opportunity to introduce them. The members of the band can all first be seen in Hot Dog, Canine Defender of the Innocent issue #3 wandering about in the background of Club Posh. However, none of the characters have a speaking part in that story. Guitarist Wool became the first of the band members to actually have lines with her appearance in Cubes issue #2. The three characters were finally all named in Cubes issue #5, where they played at the reception for Karen and Gareth's wedding.

Wattle's character and background was expanded more significantly than the other members as at one point he was going to appear in a comic focused around a group of students at the University of Gray Lassie. The group would have also included Christie Holt from the regular Cubes Semimonthly comic. Although this story was never created, the background of Wattle was retained.
